Coming exclusively from prime locations around Bechtheim, this is a village wine which reflects more the respective terroir. Skin contact for up to 24 hours with spontaneous fermentation in 500 litre tonneau barrels 70% new & 30% used. After fermentation the wine is left on its lees. Slightly creamy with a full body & a distinct limestone minerality. It’s a straight forward wine with a fine acid structure, ripe apple & quince aromas and a very delicate wooden spice.
