Yecla DO
The Yecla Denominación de Origen (DO) is a wine-producing region located in the southeast of Spain, in the province of Murcia. This DO is known for its wine production, particularly red wines, and it has gained recognition for the quality of its wines.
The predominant grape variety in the Yecla DO is Monastrell (also known as Mourvèdre), which thrives in the region’s hot and dry climate. Monastrell wines are rich, full-bodied, and often characterized by dark fruit flavors.
