Eugenie has not been with us for long, but it seems that she has always been in our hearts. She has established herself in 2023 and is showing herself in all her beauty. Born in hand-crafted vineyards that we planted ourselves, in our personal Garden of Eden, a patch of earth that is healed, and radiates with energy.

Nestled in trees, shrubs and herbs, caressed by bees, tended by many hands and cared for by our horses. Her home is the future, her ancient soul honest, her wisdom astral and inspiring. Her charisma is subtle and stirring, her expression gentle yet radiant and captivating. Together with the brilliant Eugenie, we are ready to face the challenges, because we know that harmony and balance can only be achieved step by step. And every sip is a step towards trust.

Region

The Burgenland wine region is located in eastern Austria, bordering Hungary to the east. It is one of Austria’s leading wine-producing areas and is known for its diverse range of high-quality wines. The region is characterized by a continental climate, with warm summers and cold winters, and a variety of soil types that contribute to the unique terroir of the wines produced there.

It also has a rich history and has made significant strides in improving the quality of its wines in recent years. The region’s commitment to sustainable and innovative winemaking practices has garnered international recognition for its unique and exceptional wines.

Vinification

Grapes are hand harvested and destemmed. Fermentation takes place in used open barrels. The wine stays in these barrels for an elevage of about 12 months, with no batonnage. The wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with zero addition of sulfur. Certified Organic & Biodynamic.
