Christina just loves the Zweigelt grape! Light shining red with purple reflexes, juicy cherry aromas on the nose, animating palate with a lot of red berries, soft & silky tannins on the fresh finish.
Region
Carnuntum is a wine region located in eastern Austria, near the city of Vienna. It is known for its long history of winemaking, even dating back to the time of the ancient Romans. The region takes its name from the ancient Roman city of Carnuntum, which was an important military and trading center during the Roman Empire.
Vinification
Harvested on the 20th of September 2021. Bunches are destemmed, put in stainless steel tanks while a slow fermentation takes place in the cool cellar temperature. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in oak vats. Four months rest time in the oak vats before being bottled unfined & unfiltered.

As Christina herself exclaims: “I love the Zweigelt-grape!” Light red with purple glints, juice cherry aromas in the nose, red berries, soft and silky tannins, and fresh finish, this is one tasty addition. Certified organic.
