For Maison Ventenac, a rosé should be: subtly fruity, fresh, fine, harmonious, lightly acidulated and pleasant tasting, for pure pleasure. This one ticks all the boxes for! We hope it ticks all your boxes too. After harvest grapes are sorted and fully crushed with a pneumatic press. Processing of first juices under inert gas ( at 5°C, cold clarification and fermentation at 18°C in 300 hl stainless steel tanks. No malolactic fermentation, maturation and ageing on fine lees for 2 months. On the nose; aromas of ripe strawberry and raspberry while palate is fruity, round and a lively lingering finish. Serve at 6°C – 8°C.
