Wine

The first wine to be made by the Domaine back in 2014 even before it was inaugurated. A blend of  35% Grenache, 35% Carignan & 30% Cinsault with a low temperature fermentation and aged for 4 months in stainless steel before bottling. Very clear colour with a slight pink tint on appearance while very fruit forward on the nose. Fresh on the palate with white peaches and nice length. Ideal marriage with anything happening under the warm Mediterranean sun. 

Region

IGP Méditerranée, also known as Indication Géographique Protégée (IGP) Méditerranée, is a wine appellation in the Mediterranean region of France. It is one of the many IGP designations in the country, which are part of the broader French wine classification system.

Climate & Terroir

The region experiences a Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summers, mild winters, and a significant influence from the Mediterranean Sea. The maritime climate helps moderate the temperatures in the vineyards and provides beneficial sea breezes.

IGP Méditerranée benefits from diverse terroirs, including various soil types, altitudes, and exposures. The soils range from limestone, clay, and gravel to sandy and stony terrains. These variations in terroir contribute to the different styles of wines produced in the region.

The IGP Méditerranée appellation allows winemakers to experiment with different grape varieties and winemaking techniques, providing a platform for creativity and innovation while maintaining a connection to the unique terroir of the Mediterranean coast of France.
