Description

With a hint of butter and ripe, yellow fruits quite opulent on the nose, notes of flint give a defining backbone. Flattering on the palate, with apricot and honeysuckle, ripe melon and stone fruit, accompanied by herbaceous and salty-mineral notes. An excellent companion at the table and, thanks to the volcanic soil of the vineyard, a surprising Pinot Gris. Although smoky in the finish, this property does not dominate – an elegant, but not restrained wine.
